History of Corey Creed
After finishing school in the Boston area, Corey Creed spent over ten years in the New York City area, where he developed, coordinated and conducted training for a large scale ERP software implementation.
In 2002, Corey began working more deeply with search engines when he temporarily returned to Massachusetts.
In 2003, Corey relocated to Black Mountain, NC (just east of Asheville) where he started Hippo Internet Marketing (a division of Hippo Inc). For several years, Hippo Internet Marketing enjoyed working with various clients including Volvo Construction, Chimney Rock Park, the Eastern Band of Cherokee Indians, and over 100 others.
In 2007, Corey relocated Hippo Internet Marketing to Cornelius, NC (just north of Charlotte). At the same time, a transition was made from working for clients to developing repeatable in-person two-day training classes on Search Engine Optimization, Google AdWords, Social Media, Blogging, and other Internet Marketing topics.
In 2011, Corey began a special focus toward online video. Hippo Internet Marketing Training opened a new online portal, named Hippo Academy. He was also hired on as Director of Training for Social Fresh.
Corey continues to be deeply involved with Internet Marketing in every aspect, including SEO, PPC, Advertising, and Social Media. He stays informed of industry trends and acceptable practices with his continued consulting and various internal projects. He also regularly attends and speaks at various conferences nationwide, including the below.
